Student-centered learning approaches and integrated technology in classrooms invite new ways of thinking about the design of learning environments in higher education. Students and teachers have used Room 241 as an IDEA laboratory to experiment with different arrangements of furniture, ‘dancing walls’ and screens with the aim of enacting and evaluating how active learning classrooms work.
