CEMO is in its area of competence an advisor to, amongst others, the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research and the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training as well as to a broad range of international units. Norwegian institutions linked to the field of educational measurement have the possibility to ask for advice with respect to fundamental methodological challenges. CEMO is primarily a research unit and operational work on technical questions exceeds the scope of the centre’s time resources.

In collaboration with the other departments at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, CEMO trains candidates at the master- and doctoral levels, and offers a Master in Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation.
