The two-day conference (6 and 7 Sep. 2023) showcases the latest innovative methods and advanced applications in the field of educational measurement related to three strands:
- Modern Test Design: Optimal test assembly, automatic item generation, and computerized adaptive testing
- Psychometric Modeling: Advances in modeling complex traits, processes, and test formats.
- Large-scale assessments: Methods, models, issues in between-and within-subject comparisons, and challenges for the next generation of assessment systems.
The conference takes place at Oslo Science Park (Forskningsparken), near the University of Oslo, Norway, and will include a pre-conference workshop called "Equating test scores with R" by Marie Wiberg from Umeå University, a pre-conference welcome reception (both on 5 September), and a conference dinner (6 September).
