CEMO is in its area of competence an advisor to the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research and the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training as well as to a broad range of international units.
Norwegian institutions linked to the field of educational measurement have the possibility to ask for advice with respect to fundamental methodological challenges.
In addition, CEMO reaches out actively to practitioners, for example through its “Quantitative Roadshow”, through the development of a Norwegian-English/English-Norwegian dictionary with technical terms from the field of Educational Measurement, through the development of software apps and R packages (external link) and through the examination of grading quality at the Faculty of Medicine.
CEMO team members are in addition part of national and international advisory boards and other scientific committees as well as they serve as journal editors and reviewers besides other academic duties.
