Abstract
In this lecture, I will initially describe the extent of socio-economic educational inequality in Norway. I will then discuss the evidence base for various measures to reduce and prevent this. Such measures include both direct financial transfers to families, measures to promote equality in the education system, and measures that concern children and young people's lives outside of school
