Abstract
In the concluding chapter, key contributions and their relationships in this book are presented and discussed. By outlining quality work as a distinct but complementary concept to analyse quality in higher education, the chapter presents reflections and refinements concerning quality work. Having covered both the organisational and pedagogical dimension in the eight empirical chapters, it is pointed out that quality work requires not only a degree of planning but also space for open-endedness and flexibility. Moreover, the chapter emphasises that while work is conducted by individual actors, quality work often has the characteristic of being coordinated and networked.
