Lecture titles

Self-elected topic: Exploring Engagement: Users, Publics and Audiences.

Prescribed topic: Discuss how ecology of science communication models can help us explore and understand the social contract between science and society. Include in the discussion:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

1) How an ecology of science communication relates to current theories on the social contract between science and society.
2) More specifically, how this "ecological approach" might serve as a means to move beyond traditional notions of continuity and discontinuity theory in science-society relations.
