We are proud that you selected one of our departments to begin your new studies. As international students, you reflect a diverse and important aspect of the faculty. It is easy to fall into the trap of socializing only with other international students. Do not let that happen. You have an important voice. It is critical that you are represented and heard. Get involved in the local student organizations, become a class representative, be active at the faculty!
The Semester start week will be full of excitement, information and possibly nerves. The building and campus are alive with new energy and faces. Enjoy the newness semester start has to offer. Take in the challenges that lie ahead and face them head on. There are many things going on at the Faculty. Remember that university life isn’t all about lectures and school work, join the social events and activities. There is also a vast amount of research that is being done at our Faculty and UiO. Begin looking at the different research groups, maybe you will find something that will spark your interest.
