Submission of the Master's Thesis

The submission of Master's Theses is electronic. You do not need to submit a printed copy of the thesis.

Submission

It is a prerequisite for submission to have passed all former courses and compulsory components of the master's programme. Furthermore, it is a prerequisite that you are registered for examination in SNE4390 Master's Thesis in Studentweb for the relevant semester, and that you have a valid UiO username and password.

Submission deadline

The submission deadline is available on the semester page.

The submission in Inspera opens approximately two weeks prior to the submission deadline.

How to submit

The Master's Thesis is to be submitted as a PDF file in StudentWeb and Inspera. It is important that the PDF files you submit in StudentWeb and Inspera are identical.

If two students have written their Master's Thesis in collaboration together both students must submit identical PDF files both in StudentWeb and Inspera.

The submission in Studentweb and in Inspera closes precisely when the deadline expires. We encourage you to start the submission in good time before the deadline.
