We are in the unfortunate position to announce the cancellation of the conference, as the coronavirus situation has rapidly unfolded in Norway, and, as a result, the University of Oslo has been closed and all events scheduled between now and August have been cancelled. We will inform you about the possibility for rescheduling in collaboration with the committee of the Society for Research in Learning Disabilities.

The second SRLD Conference will be held in Oslo in June 18-19, 2020. Organizer: Department of Special Needs Education, University of Oslo, Norway.

The Conference is now open for registration only for those who will contribute.

The research group ComPros at the Department of Special Needs Education is hosting a lunch seminar on Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), its terminology, diagnostic criteria as well as the links between language, emotion processing and DLD.

The research groups ComPros at the Department of Special Needs Education and TextDim at the Department of Education are hosting an open seminar on Parent-child interaction across early development and cultures. In the seminar the researchers will address topics like parent-infant reading, shared book reading and decontextualized language use during caregiver-child interactions.

Institutt for spesialpedagogikk har gleden av å invitere ansatte, studenter og klinikere til et seminar om stamming hos barn med Dr. Elaina Kefalianos fra Universitetet i Melbourne og Associate Professor Courtney Byrd fra University of Austin. Begge foredragsholdere er internasjonalt anerkjente eksperter på sitt fagfelt.
