My PhD-project examines how teachers and newly arrived Arabic-speaking students utilize digital tools in oral communication tasks within the classroom.

Through an ethnographic approach, the project will investigate teachers' instructional practices in planning and teaching, as well as the students' use of digital tools in oral contexts.

The data will consist of classroom observations, field notes, interviews, screen recordings, and video observations from an introductory class and an ordinary class.
