Biography

Jeffrey B. Hall is Associate Professor (Educational leadership, Education law) at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research (ILS). He is currently co-leader of the research group CLEG (Curriculum, Leadership and Educational Governance) at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. As a core member of the LE@DS network (Leading Democratic Schools, Manchester University), Hall is involved in comparative work with New Public Management (NPM) and education reforms. Hall's research also explores policy, governing, education law, leadership, school inspection and curriculum studies. He teaches education law, school leadership and qualitative research methodology courses in the Master's program. He was previously program leader for the Master's Program in Educational Leadership and National Principals' Training Program at ILS.
