My research interest lies in child language and literacy development.
Currently, I am investigating specific features of family interactions, such as mothers' use of idioms during shared-book reading and children's questions during dinnertime conversations. I am examining their associations with child vocabulary growth.
The overall goal of my PhD-project is to gain knowledge on how young Chinese children in Norway develop languages at home.
I am familiar with statistics models such as longitudinal growth modeling and structural equation modeling.
