Academic interests

My research is within the field of health education. The project I am conducting is about communication between patients and practitioner and about training in coping strategies and health literacy for patients with fibrosis and their health care professionals. I have an ethnographic approach in the project and use interaction analysis in processing data. The focus will be on developing person-centred learning trajectories.

Partners

My research project is part of the Life Sciences initiative at UiO, and forms part of the interdisciplinary research group (convergence environment) FibroPET. My project is part of work package 4 who is responsible for education.

In FibroPET, we collaborate across the disciplines of nuclear medicine, rheumatology, physics and pedagogy, with the aim of creating the best possible precision-medical treatment and diagnosis for patients with fibrosis diseases that ensure good person-centred learning trajectories.
