Academic interests
My research focuses on the use of new technologies in secondary and higher education. These technologies include computers, robots and immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality.
I have a special interest in how interactions between individuals and groups are stimulated by the use of digital tools. What are the various effects that these may prompt on learners’ use of space, presence, and attention?
Combining multimodal interaction methodologies and sociocultural theories, I am using video material to shed light on new social and learning practices.
Ongoing activities
I am working as a postdoctoral fellow within the DigiLiv project.

As a former English and French language instructor, I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics which was defended in 2020 at the University of Lyon (France).
Anchored in Foreign Language Pedagogy, my doctoral thesis reflected teacher-trainees and language learners’ use of a video conferencing platform when interacting in French. The thesis is available in French here
