Knut-Arne Futsæter works on the social dynamics of the social media, in cooperation with Ivar Frønes. They trace new patterns in the uses of new networking media. Their work draws upon Norwegian data from TNS Gallup.
TNS Gallup makes data panels on digital media use available for MEDIATIZED STORIES. Knut-Arne Futsæter maps out and analyse relevant patterns of digital media use among children and young people in Europe. In MEDIATIZED STORIES this makes a platform, particularly for the research into the dynamics of mediation processes and on media literacy.

Futsæter has contributeted analyses for MEDIATIZED STORIES from the vast material available at TNS Gallup in Norway, where he acts as Director of Media Research.
