Models across contexts

Graphs, models, interactive simulations, and other visual representations are central to scientific practice, as well as to science education. MIRACLE designed a number of models and simulations of scientific phenomena to present to students over different media in different settings along the trajectory. For instance, students can actively experiment with phenomena of evaporation and condensation in the classroom, then interact with a heat pump exhibition at the museum in which the same phenomena are represented differently, and again re-visit these phenomena as presented in a different, yet related computer-based simulation in the classroom.

As is the case with any other digital product generated in SciWork, both teachers and students can retrieve pictures and digital notes produced during interaction with the models. In the picture below, the teacher is discussing a simulation during plenum.
