ISCAR-seminar on Cultural-Historical Psychology in Moscow

Alfredo Jornet Gil has participated in an ISCAR-organized seminar in Moscow on Cultural-Historical psychology, where he has presented some of MIRACLE project's research strategies.

The International Society for Cultural and Activity Research (ISCAR), in collaboration with Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE), organized the Second International ISCAR Summer University. It took place at MSUPE (Moscow), between the 26th august and the 2nd of september 2011. Under the title of "Theoretical problems of Cultural-Historical Psychology in the context of emerging practices", PhD candidates from all over the world, and some of the most well known professor in Cultural-Historical Psychology from Russia, Finland, Germany and Brazil were gathered for thoughtfull discussions and theoretical reflections (visit the website of the event here). Our PhD student Alfredo Jornet presented his project "Meaning making trajectories across contexts: Learning science through mixed reality representations in the school and the museum" as part of the MIRACLE project. With his participation, we have strengthened our theoretical background, and have shared our research with others interested in cultural-historical psychology.
