About Oslo SPeLL

The aim is to educate and support knowledgeable and competent practitioners and researchers, who are keeping up with the latest development in research and who are considerate towards the heterogeneity of individuals with special needs. 

What Oslo SPeLL does:

  • We support research and teaching activities at the Department of Special Needs Education, and the Faculty of Education and other collaborators.
  • We maintain the department's scientific instruments and lab facilities.
  • We support projects with equipment, training, technical support, and access to volunteer research participants.
  • We support projects through app development.
  • We work on the lab's own projects on test adaptation, digitalization and standardization.
  • We provide educational support through workshops and training in instrument use for students and researchers.
  • We aim to provide students with hands-on experience with assessment, intervention, and counseling under supervision.
