Eye tracking is a technology for investigating how the eye and the pupil move when looking at a screen, for example during reading, images of social settings, or during cognitive tests.
A variety of eye trackers are available on the market, from relatively cheap to expensive devices with advanced precision and accuracy. We present what Oslo SPeLL has available in the field of eye tracking and software. We briefly discuss how a typical experiment can be set up, how eye tracking data can be analysed, and finally we perform a hands-on session where we carry out a simple experiment with eye tracking.
