Research assistants joining the team

After reviewing a long list of applicants to announced positions for research assistants, and interviewing several capable candidates, we are happy that Siri Sandberg, Tone Sannerholt, and Marie Nordahl have joined the project team to help with assessment and intervention.

Meet our skilled research assistants!


Marie has a master's degree in Childhood Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her main task in the BetterReading project includes data collection in schools. She will also be trained in eye tracking. Learn more about her research interests and background here.


Tone has a master's degree in Social and Cognitive Psychology from the University of Bergen. Her professional experience includes working in elementary school settings. She also has experience working with individuals with disabilities. Tone will be responsible for collecting data in schools for the BetterReading project. She looks forward to meeting all the children who want to participate and contribute to the research project.
