Hearing level in children with Down syndrome


About the project

The aim of the study is to examine the prevalence of hearing loss in school children with Down syndrome. An increased risk of hearing loss in this syndrome is known. 53 eight year old children with Down syndrome are included in the study. The control group consists of 60 children from a normal child population. The study is in close connection with Lovisenberg Diakonale Hospital, Oslo.
