Doktorgradskandidat Silje Hokstads prosjekt har arbeidstittelen: "Communication in children with Down syndrome"
Afasi er en diagnose som rammer en av fire voksne hjerneslagpasienter. Hjernen er blitt skadet slik at området som styrer kommunikasjon får problemer.

Master Christiane Lingås Haukedal ved Institutt for spesialpedagogikk vil forsvare sin avhandling "Quality of Life in Children with Hearing Loss" for graden PhD.
Master Anita Lopez-Pedersen ved Institutt for spesialpedagogikk vil forsvare sin avhandling "Understanding, identifying and ameliorating young children’s early numeracy skills: A multimethod approach" for graden Philosophiae doctor.
We are in the unfortunate position to announce the cancellation of the conference, as the coronavirus situation has rapidly unfolded in Norway, and, as a result, the University of Oslo has been closed and all events scheduled between now and August have been cancelled. We will inform you about the possibility for rescheduling in collaboration with the committee of the Society for Research in Learning Disabilities.
The second SRLD Conference will be held in Oslo in June 18-19, 2020. Organizer: Department of Special Needs Education, University of Oslo, Norway.
