IDEA is a resource centre at UV assisting in innovative teaching, pedagogically focused digital solutions, and research-based educational innovation. It also has a team consisting of students called IDEA StudentTeam.
On Tuesday the 12th of March between 11:00-13:00 the IDEA StudentTeam is hosting a new StudentStudio which will be held at Helga Engs Hus’ Kjeller’n, where you as a student can come in and talk with the members of the StudentTeam while enjoying a waffle or two! It can be about anything, from stressful happenings in life, at work, university, or something else. Or maybe just to get to know more about IDEA, its StudentTeam and what they work with and do for the faculty and its students!
This StudentStudio - Stop Wafflin’ is a collaboration between IDEA and Helga Engs Hus’ student organization, café, and bar Kjeller’n, also known as Traugots Kjeller. Normally they host “åpen lunsj” every Tuesday between 11:00-13:00 where they offer students a place to come down to relax and have a study break, chat with people and enjoy some snacks and food that Kjeller’n provides.
This time the IDEA StudentTeam will host their “åpen lunsj” providing all of you with waffles, a place to chat and way to learn about IDEA and us. What we do, what we provide, and opportunities to potentially work with us in the future as well, in a fun and relaxing environment.
Whether you want to come down to Kjeller’n to talk to us to learn more about us, eat waffles, or to just chat or vent about something, we welcome you to be part of this fun and different event. Welcome and enjoy!
What is IDEA StudentStudio?
IDEA StudentTeam organizes interactive workshops where we place particular emphasis on being a meeting place for the students at UV, and where we can test out innovative ideas that can contribute to improving the quality of the students' studies.
We want to be a meeting place for students from different disciplines (and lecturers), where we can meet together to discuss, train or brainstorm exciting ideas about how innovation and technology can improve our experience of university life.
