The IDEA StudentTeam

IDEA's StudentTeam is comprised of UV students who work on innovation in education. As part of this, our StudentTeam is responsible for both arranging events for UV students and developing innovative ideas to support student learning at UV.

In spring 2023, the StudentTeam is developing new and exiting events and projects to continue supporting innovative use of ideas and technologies to aid UV students during their studies. These activities include the development of:

StudentPuls

StudentPuls is a new and ongoing activity of the IDEA StudentTeam.

StudentPuls provides a news feed about topics and events relevant to UV students. With a focus on ideas and themes related to innovation and technology, StudentPuls provides a student-centred perspective on how new ideas and technologies can change the face of education.

Innovation Sprint

The Innovation Sprint is a new initiative of the IDEA StudentTeam in 2023. The goal is engage UV students in a fun and intensive workshop to develop skills and competence in innovative thinking and mindsets.

The workshop will focus on developing and employing pedagogical theory to address real-world problems through the use of:

  • Problem-solving
  • Collaboration
  • Communication

Resource Page for UV Students

Since the IDEA StudentTeam is comprised of Bachelor and Master Students at UV, the StudentTeam knows what kind of support university students need. Through Spring 2023, the StudentTeam is compiling, designing, and developing a series of digital resources to assist UV students through their studies.

Once the project is complete, a resource page will be available on the IDEA StudentTeam webpage.
