Academic Interests

Hejl's research is in the field of dialogue in education. Specifically, her research focuses on how to improve the quality of dialogue among children in schools.

Background

Hejl completed her master thesis in philosophy at the University of Southern Denmark in January 2019. The thesis focused on the challenges and benefits of introducing Philosophical Dialogue in the subjects of ‘Nature and Technology’, Mathematics and Biology among children between 10 and 14 years old.
