Selling's research is in the field of mathematics education, with focus on quality of teaching. Specifically, his research focuses on teachers’ goal setting in mathematics education.
Background
Alexander completed master thesis in mathematical didactics at the University of Oslo in 2017. The thesis focused on teacher-set goals in mathematics education and was of part of the LISA-project. Between 2017 and 2019 Selling worked full-time as a teacher in mathematics and natural sciences at Vestby VGS.
