CREATE aims at generating groundbreaking knowledge to promote equality in education by identifying the causal barriers to achieving equality and by investigating how to intervene on these.
We want to get an understanding of the possibilities and bounds to which inequalities can be reduced through education and with respect to different conceptualizations of equality. For these purposes, the Centre brings links the strengths of large-scale and smaller in-depth studies, covering structural and process characteristics of education.
